Wheels Through Time Museum is the home to the world’s premier collection of rare American motorcycles, memorabilia and a distinct array of unique “one off” American automobiles. Located on US 19 (Soco Rd) in Maggie Valley. Cost: $15.00 per person www.wheelsthroughtime.com

 Pot Luck at the Cross Creek Pavilion (meat provided) Tommy Rountree is cooking! Bring your favorite dish to pass and whatever you want to drink.

 Come for a Campfire at Mile High Campground. Take US 19 (Soco Rd.) to the Blue Ridge Parkway, left on the Parkway towards Cherokee to first right, Balsam Mountain, then left into campground. Approximately a 10 mile drive. See the spectacular views from the top, watch the sun set. Dress warm, it’s colder at higher elevation! Back road driving tour to Cataloochee Valley in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Starting point, lunch at The Bean Tree Café (not confirmed yet) in Hartford, TN (I-40N exit 447). The drive from The Bean Café to Cataloochee Valley is approximately 40 minutes. Once at Cataloochee Valley hopefully we’ll see some elk and there are pit toilets. The drive out of Cataloochee Valley back to Cross Creek is a little over an hour. Plan on this drive taking half the day. FYI: For those with CB’s we will be using channel 18 www.nps.gov/grsm/planyourvisit/cataloochee.htm

See the BUSH’S Theater, featuring a short film which includes a welcome from Jay and Duke, an overview of the Bush family history and a glimpse of the modern methods of processing and canning beans. Take a walk through a gian replica can of BUSH’S Bake Beans, showing the bean’s journey from beginning to end. www.bushbeans.com
